Rather unusally, this geometric representation of Pi was found in a field near Barbury Castle in Wiltshire. I blame the Time Lords.

I'll let the newspaper article explain further...

"The figure 3.141592653 is shown by differing lengths of a spiral counting from the centre." So start in the centre, the three red thirds of the circle represent the 3, the lil black dot is a decimal point, then there's a 1 in green, a 4 in purple, a 1 in orange etc.

Me, being Gallifreyan at hearts, finds this terrifically amusing. And it makes for a good clock! (Now if only I had the tech to make a Vista Sidebar clock that works like this...)

I greatly thank you for commenting on this; I really doubted anyone would find this little piece tucked away here! I remember there was a hubbub on some of the Livejournals at the time that the Master was causing some crop circular trouble...

And now, looking at the file size... Wow. I would really love to say that was intentional.
