I decided that each character was a work of art in their own right, so here is another in that selection.

The Rani was played by Kate O'Mara, also known for her role on Dynasty. Her face is taken from her appearance in The Mark of the Rani (you can tell because her hair hasn't gone Gloria Gaynor) and her body from a Google Search for a stylish trouser suit. A thoroughly modern Rani!

The Rani was a scientist who let nothing - not even morality - get in the way of her research. She's been hooked in by the Time Lords because of this; if genetic manipulation is the last resort of the Time War, so be it.
